After I was born in Starnberg, near Munich, my mother and I moved to Umbria, Italy, where I grew up and completed my secondary education in Perugia. At the age of twenty, I returned to Germany and studied Political Science, Philosophy and Literature at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
Coming from a family of painters on one side and a writer on the other, I discovered my passion for the performing arts at an early age. I began my acting training in 2002. From 2004 onwards, I lived and studied in the United States, first at the Herbert Berghof Studio in New York and later at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles.
From 2009 onwards, I played the reporter Gierke for ten years in the successful ARD television series “Um Himmels Willen”. Further roles followed in productions including “Hubert und Staller”, “Der Alte”, “Die Augenzeugen”, “SOKO 5113”, “SOKO Leipzig”, “Die Chefin” and “Herzflimmern”. In addition to my work as an actor, I also work as a presenter and host.
Since 2015, I have taught at TheaterWerk Munich as well as at other acting schools and professional training institutions. My main areas of expertise are camera acting, Meisner training and psychological character development. I also work regularly with international acting coaches.
My second great passion is psychology. I wrote my master’s thesis on modern approaches to psychoanalysis. I am a qualified systemic therapist and family therapist, a licensed practitioner of psychotherapy under German law, and a trained hypnotherapist. My knowledge of human behaviour, relationships and inner conflicts directly informs my work as an actor.
